About Me
Short: Wife. Mom. Crafter. Baker.
Long: I became a Mrs. when I married my best friend (cliché, I know) in a beautiful autumn ceremony in October 2010. We met his first (my third) year at the University of Minnesota and (to add to the clichés) the rest is history. After I graduated in 2008, we bought a piece of America and moved out to the suburbs. We brought with us my Boston Terrier and a few years later, in 2011, we brought home a second Boston Terrier - we lovingly refer to them as, the Boston Brothers.
In 2012 we completed the American dream by having our beautiful daughter, Little Lady O! She's the light of our life and it's hard to imagine what life was like without her.
In the little spare time I have, I love to bake and create (from scrap booking to cross-stitch to various DIY projects I find on Pinterest). I'm sure many posts you'll find on here will be my take on various projects and recipes I find on Pinterest. (I've had my fair share of Pinterest-fails; no worries, I'll post those as well - everyone needs a good laugh once and awhile).
*I must give credit where credit is due - the inspiration for starting a blog came from my amazing cousin and her equally amazing blog: Follow the High Line Home. Check it out!
